A story that might change how you see life:
A rich man was walking by a river when he saw a fisherman lying on the bank, calmly smoking a cigarette.
The rich man looked at him and asked, “Why aren’t you out fishing?”
The fisherman replied, “I’ve already caught enough fish for today.”
The rich man was surprised. “Why don’t you catch more?”
“What would I do with them?” the fisherman asked.
“You could sell them and make more money,” the rich man said. “Then you could buy a motor for your boat and go out into deeper waters to catch even more fish. With more money, you could buy better nets, get even more fish, and earn even more. Eventually, you could own two boats… maybe even a whole fleet. Then you’d be rich like me!”
The fisherman asked, “And what would I do after that?”
The rich man smiled and said, “Then you could relax and enjoy life.”
The fisherman looked at him and said, “What do you think I’m doing right now?”
True wealth is not always about having more, but about being content with what you already have. Happiness comes from appreciating life in the present, not only chasing after the future.
