🗣 Iranian Group Busted Using ChatGPT to Influence US Election
🟢 OpenAI disclosed on Friday that it had shut down accounts linked to an Iranian group attempting to use its ChatGPT chatbot to influence the upcoming US presidential election.
🟢 The operation, named Storm-2035, generated content on hot-button issues like the election candidates, the Gaza conflict, and Israel's role in the Olympics. However, despite their best efforts, the group's posts received little to no interaction.
OpenAI confirmed the ban of these accounts and assured ongoing vigilance against future violations.
