Bode George to Jandor:If he had contested primary with Gbadebo,he would have been beaten point blank.

A Former PDP National Chairman and a current BOT Member of the PDP, Chief Bode George has alleged that the Lagos PDP Governorship Candidate, Olajide Adediran who is popularly know as Jandor would have been decisively defeated by Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour in a fair contest.

He recounted how the PDP elders in Lagos state assessed the aspirants and identified the most suitable candidate as Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour. He however stated that due to Jandor's age seniority, it was agreed that Gbadebo would serve as his running mate to ensure a seamless primary process. He lamented on how Jandor rescinded over the initial agreement and cited a prior commitment to his late aunt to select a female running mate.

He said in an interview with Arise TV, ''There was a meeting of the elders where we invited all the contestants who were aspirants at that time. We were trying to find out about their knowledge and what they have done in the past. And how deep rooted they are in managerial skills and their educational background. And the best candidate that day was Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour. We agreed that because Jandor was older than Gbadebo, Gbadebo should be his running mate.

And this was to make the primary seamless but immediately after the primary, Jandor reneged from the agreement. He came to me and said before his Auntie who brought him to the party died, he had promised that once he wins he would go and pick a lady as his running mate. It was a joke. If he had contested openly with Gbadebo, he would have been beaten blue, black and red. We wanted to have a peaceful house so that the issue will be between us and the opposition which is the APC. It was that position that Jandor took that made a nonsense out of the arrangement.''
