🗣 NAFDAC Warns Against Fake and Substandard Products
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control
(NAFDAC) has warned water producers, patent medicine dealers, and other manufacturers to avoid selling fake and substandard products.
During a stakeholder meeting in Ibadan, NAFDAC's Southwest Coordinator, Mrs. Roseline Ajayi, highlighted issues such as the sale of unregistered drugs and the use of harmful ingredients in products like bread. She emphasized that despite economic challenges, NAFDAC will not compromise on quality and safety standards.

South Korea’s National Pension Service (NPS) invested $33.7M in MicroStrategy shares and also bought shares in Coinbase. NPS sees long-term value in crypto investments, with its portfolio reaching over $87B, a record for five consecutive quarters.

Security experts from Check Point Research have uncovered a new virus, Styx Stealer, that steals user data, including cryptocurrency wallet addresses and passwords. The virus exploits a vulnerability in Windows Defender but is ineffective on systems with up-to-date software.
TRANSFER: Okechukwu moves to Turkish club, Erzurumspor
Former U-23 Eagles captain, Azubuike Okechukwu has sealed a move to Turkish second division club, Erzurumspor.
Okechukwu was on the books of another Turkish club, Caykur Rizespor, last season.
The 27-year-old made 13 league appearances for Rizespor last season.
EPL: ‘He’s a spectator’ – Paul Robinsons on Arsenal star after win over Wolves
Former England goalkeeper, Paul Robinson, has branded goalkeeper, David Raya, a ‘spectator’ in the first half of Arsenal’s Premier League 2-0 win over Wolves on Saturday.
Raya was left with little to do in the opening 45 minutes with the Gunners heading into the break with a 1-0 lead, thanks to Kai Havertz’s goal.
The only moment in which Raya was properly called into action saw him produce a massive save.
TRANSFER: 24-year-old Arsenal star to leave Arteta’s squad before deadline day
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, has disclosed that 24-year-old Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior could still leave Mikel Arteta’s squad before the end of the summer transfer window.
Romano stated this in a tweet via his X account on Saturday.
He was giving the reason why the Poland international was not included in Arsenal’s Premier League squad against Wolves on Saturday.
