⏺ 4 Britons and 2 Americans Missing After Yacht Sinks in Sicilian Storm

🟢A luxury yacht, the Bayesian, sank off the coast of Sicily early Monday during a violent storm, leaving 4 Britons, 2 Americans, and a Canadian missing. The 56-meter vessel, with 22 people onboard, went down near Porticello, prompting a massive rescue operation.

🟢15 people, including a one-year-old, were rescued by the coastguard and firefighters. One body was found, but 6 are still missing. Divers are searching the wreck, which is now 49 meters underwater.

The UK Foreign Office is in contact with local authorities to assist British nationals. Eyewitnesses reported a waterspout hitting the yacht before it sank.
