Subject: Comprehensive Update on Visitation to Orimolade Grammar School, Ikirun
I write to provide a detailed update on my recent official visit to Orimolade Grammar School, Ikirun, where I engaged students in an interactive career talk aimed at enlightening and preparing them for future academic and vocational pursuits.
Student Engagement and Selection Process
To ensure inclusivity and representation, students were selected as follows:
Two representatives from each class in SSS 3 to SSS 1,
Two representatives from each class in JSS 3 to JSS 1.
This selection allowed for a diverse range of perspectives and ensured that the message of career development, personal growth, and future planning reached a broad segment of the student population.
Key Discussions and Highlights
During my discussion, I emphasized the importance of education as the greatest legacy that both the government and parents can provide for children. I underscored that a well-educated generation is the backbone of a progressive and prosperous society.
I further elaborated on the need for students to embrace not only formal education but also creative and vocational training as essential tools for economic and social development. These skills will position them as future leaders and contributors to the growth of Ikirun, Ifelodun, Osun State, and Nigeria at large.
Encouragement and Government’s Commitment
Your unwavering dedication to education, youth empowerment, and development was highlighted as a source of motivation for the students. I assured them that their dreams and aspirations matter, and with determination, hard work, and the right support, they can achieve greatness.
Additionally, I reassured the school management and students that the government remains committed to policies and programs that will enhance the quality of education within our constituency.
Conclusion and Call to Action
In conclusion, I encouraged the students to take full advantage of the opportunities available to them, remain focused, and strive for excellence in their academic and vocational pursuits.
Let us all continue working towards a future where education serves as the foundation for progress and development.
May God bless Nigeria, God bless Osun State, God bless Ifelodun, God bless Ikirun, and God bless the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
