Heavy Shadow slows anything hit, letting you control the flow of zombies, while Dusk Flame adds a burn effect for lingering damage – the two work sick together against stronger enemies.

The Major Augments push Dark Flare into wild territory. Dark Pact swaps damage for support, letting you heal or even pick teammates up mid-combat – a lifesaver for co-op runs. Extension simply runs the beam longer, good for lining up more kills. Supernova swaps the static beam for an energy ball that drifts forward, hits everything in its path, then explodes big. Muzzle Blast adds a close-range cone of extra damage at the start, which can bail you out if zombies are in your face.
