If you find a part of the map where HVTs keep popping back up, you can chain them and finish all 20 kills way faster than you expect.
Smart Runs And Time Management
Higher tier zones technically spawn more specials, but they are so tanky that you end up dumping half your ammo into each one, which is rarely worth it. Staying in easier zones keeps things smooth and lets you focus on the weapon you are levelling instead of surviving. One thing a lot of players forget about is the lobby timer. When that hits zero, the run ends on the spot and you lose progress for that session, which feels awful if you were just a couple of kills away. To farm properly, bring a strong primary you are comfortable with, grab a decent secondary from a contract when you can, and only pull out your camo weapon when a special enemy shows up.
