In ARC Raiders, the quest "A Dead End" has quickly become one of the more memorable missions added in the Shrouded Sky update. It's given by Shani, and it sends players into Mantikor's underground facilities in the Blue Gate region. The objective sounds simple at first, but once you're inside the area it becomes a tense mix of exploration, combat, and careful resource management. Many solo players find it tricky, while squads tend to handle it much more smoothly ARC Raiders Coins.

The first part of the mission is just getting into the right place. You need to head to the Reinforced Reception point of interest in Blue Gate. It's a fairly busy area since a lot of players pass through looking for loot. Once you reach the building, go inside through the main entrance or a broken window. Look around the lobby for a vertical shaft with a zipline leading downward. A large Mantikor logo on the wall is usually the easiest sign that you're in the correct location. Riding the zipline down takes you into the underground section where the real objective begins.

When you reach the basement, you'll notice a blue line painted along the floor that guides you deeper into the facility. Follow it through the corridors until you arrive at a large shuttered door inside the Security Wing. This door won't open with a normal key. Instead, it requires three battery cells to power a terminal next to the door. That means you'll need to search the surrounding rooms for Access Capacitor Racks, which are small wall-mounted boxes where the batteries spawn.

The tricky part is that you can only carry one battery at a time. While holding one, you can't sprint or shoot, which makes the process much slower and riskier. Before trying to move the batteries, it's a good idea to clear nearby enemies. Hostile ARC units often patrol the tunnels, and getting attacked while carrying a battery usually means dropping it and starting the trip again.

If you're playing solo, expect to run back and forth several times to bring all three batteries to the console. It's doable, but it takes patience. With a squad, things are much easier. Each player can grab a battery, and the team can power the door almost immediately. A bit of communication helps a lot here, especially if enemies start appearing while someone is carrying a battery.

Once the console is fully powered, the heavy doors open and reveal the Security Wing's red room. This area is well known among experienced players because it contains several lockers, weapon cases, and other high-value loot spots. It's tempting to start looting right away, but if you're focused on finishing the quest, head toward the back-right corner of the room first.

There you'll find a terminal that lets you play a recording related to Project Heartwood. Activating it triggers a short log that gives some story context about Mantikor's experiments. After that, move to the opposite side of the room where a cabinet contains the Dusty Film Reel. This item is what the quest actually requires. Pick it up and keep it safe, because dying before extraction means you'll have to repeat the entire process again.

After securing the film reel, you can take some time to loot the rest of the room. The area usually contains useful gear such as weapon attachments, armor materials, and other valuable components. Once you're satisfied, the final step is to extract and return safely to Speranza so the quest can be completed.

Players often recommend attempting the mission during quieter times on the server, since Blue Gate can get crowded and rival raiders may interrupt the process. Bringing mobility tools and staying alert while carrying batteries can also make a big difference.

Completing "A Dead End" not only advances the story but also rewards you with coins, cosmetic items, and the next quest in the chain buy ARC Raiders Items. It's one of those missions that feels frustrating at first but becomes much easier once you understand the layout of the underground facility and the battery mechanic. For many players, successfully finishing it turns the Blue Gate area from a stressful zone into a reliable place to farm loot and progress through the Shrouded Sky storyline.
