Black Ops 6 & Warzone Season 4: Release Window and What to Expect!

Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 4 is fast approaching. From the Olympia shotgun to Grim Reaper Scorestreak, let’s jump right into everything you need to know.

Season 3 Reloaded introduced a fresh slate of new content. In Multiplayer, the highlights were two new maps, a limited-time mode, and a Perk that briefly marks your killer’s last known position. As for Zombies, there was a new LTM, Shattered Veil Directed Mode, and a returning Field Upgrade.

Meanwhile, the moving train POI and Ranked Play returned in Warzone, along with a new vehicle, two LTMs, high-value loot zones, and more contracts. Fans of both game modes also get a new weapon to try out with the Ladra, which is widely regarded as one of the best weapons in the game. Season 4 is shaping up to be another exciting update.

Black Ops 6 & Warzone Season 4 expected Release Date

Based on the Battle Pass end date and usual seasonal timing, Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 4 is expected to start on Thursday, May 29.

Seasonal updates usually occur on the final Thursday of a month or in the first week of a new month, so this timeline would make sense.

Black Ops 6 & Warzone Season 4 Possible Start Time

We expect Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 4 to start around 9 AM PT / 11 PM CT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM GMT.

This is based on the start time for previous seasons, but it is always subject to change due to server maintenance or other unexpected circumstances.

Black Ops 6 & Warzone Season 4 Leaks

Olympia Shotgun Returns

HeyImalaix leaked a list of weapons added to the game files, and confirmed that one of the leaked weapons is the Olympia.

The Olympia has appeared in Black Ops 1, 2, and 3. The shotgun is devastating up close but has a few glaring flaws. The damage fall-off is drastic, meaning you won’t do much damage beyond 10 meters, and it’s a double-barrel shotgun, meaning it can only fire two shots before needing to reload.

However, I still believe it will be an excellent weapon. According to the Call of Duty Wiki, the Olympia fires eight pellets per shot at any range short of ten meters, and does forty damage per pellet, requiring three pellets to kill an enemy. If that damage profile is the same, the shotgun will be lethal in Multiplayer and Warzone.

Grim Reaper Scorestreak Set For a Comeback

The Grim Reaper Scorestreak first appeared in Black Ops 1 and hasn’t returned since. The Scorestreak is a multishot rocket launcher that allows you to fire up to four rockets before reloading. In multiplayer, the weapon locks onto aircraft, but is free fire against enemies.

If you get a direct shot, the rocket launcher deals 500 damage and still does 150 for the explosion radius, even if you miss.

Stitch Operator Featured in Season 4

Vikhor “Stitch” Kuzmin is the main antagonist of Warzone in the Black Ops timeline and first appeared in Black Ops: Cold War. Kuzmin lost his eye while being interrogated by Russel Adler and was later executed by Adler after being captured again.

Call of Duty bringing back Stitch would indicate that he will seek revenge on Adler, but we will know more closer to the seasonal release date.
