Years ago, Sen Ali Modu Sherrif was the Governor of Borno State. He appointed Sen Kashim Shettima as Commissioner in different Ministries. Later on, he anointed Kashim Shettima as his successor. Kashim Shettima governed Borno State for 8yrs.
