Therefore, an African man who chooses not to do it is simply adhering to the cultural norms he was raised with, where such a public gesture of submission is not the standard practice. His refusal is not a lack of love, but a different cultural expression of commitment.
True African values are built on love, care, and profound respect, which are demonstrated in many ways not by a man kneeling down.
